A 15 Year Old GAMER Who “SWATTED” Was Convicted of DOMESTIC TERRORISM; Gets 25 Years To Life In A FEDERAL PRISON

This story is one in a million, this kid is only 15 years old and was convicted of DOMESTIC TERRORISM. This story is just shocking and it seems they have made him an example to others never prank with the police nor Swat Unit. Read the below #1 DeQuincy, LA — What many teenagers today are considering a harmless prank to strangers and friends has landed one online gamer in more trouble than he could have ever imagined in his lifetime. In a Louisiana courtroom today, 15-year-old Paul Horner broke down in tears after a judge found the young man guilty on two counts of domestic terrorism and was sentenced to twenty-five years to life infederal prison. – It’s as serious as that ! YES. Horner is the first person not only in his town yet in history to be charged with what is known as ‘swatting‘, a growing trend in which a person anonymously files a false police report, such as a murder or bomb threat for example, in hopes of provoking the police to raid an individual’s home or business. Prosecutors in the case proved that Horner called in multiple false threats against rival online gamers, resulting in SWAT team raids of their residence. Imagine the amount of money that has been spent for each bogus phone call prank. This News has gone viral as you can assume as he is the very first to ever be convicted for reporting a false police report. fvtbyjkljhu #2 “Swatting” is a new fad among gamers targeting those who “livestream“, broadcasting themselves and their game play live over the Internet to fans and in-game rivals alike. If a gamer is able to ascertain the personal information of a rival, by locating their IP and residential address, they will call in a dangerous threat to law enforcement and watch as the “livestreamer’s” house is forcibly entered by police.
The practice of “SWATTING” was recently brought to national attention by the YouTube video: The Creatures (Kootra) got SWAT Raided (SWATTED) #FreeKootra2014. Law Enforcement agencies say that the practice, which has been occurring with increasing frequency since 2013, wastes valuableresources and places innocent people in harm’s way. The 2014 incident, which resulted in the charges against Horner, are a prime example of this.
#3 Defense lawyers told the courtroom that Horner, who goes by the gamertag BadAssDwg69, was upset after being repeatedly beaten by a fellow gamer at Battlefield 4. After obtaining the rival gamers information, prosecutors say Horner called police and reported a murder/hostage situation at the home. SWAT team then raided the house, shooting and critically injuring the “Livestreamer’s” father in the process. Following an investigation of the incident, Horner was charged as an adult, using provisions of the 2001 Patriot Act. Horner’s guilty charge stems from two counts of domestic terrorism, related to his manipulation of an enforcement response, and injuries to innocents resulting from those actions.
Prosecutors played audio of Horner’s 911 phone call to the jury: “I just shot and killed four people. If any police enter my home I will kill them too,” the statement read in part.

Britney Spears' father urges her not to date

Singer Britney Spears' father has reportedly asked her to take a break from dating for sometime following her split from boyfriend Charlie Ebersol earlier this year. READ: Britney Spears's concert outburst Listen to Britney Spears on Gaana.com Jamie Spears thinks the 33-year-old Perfume hitmaker, who split from her last boyfriend Charlie Ebersol two months ago, should steer clear of men for six months and focus on herself, reported Female First. "Jamie wants her to rebuild her confidence after breaking up with Charlie, while Britney wants to find a man right away. She pushes her dad every day, saying that a new guy will help her forget about Charlie," a source said.
Her father, who has been in control of her legal and financial affairs since he obtained a conservatorship following her public breakdown in 2008, is apparently worried she will end up getting her heart broken again. "She throws everything into relationships before they have a chance to grow, and the guys run," the insider said. The singer started dating TV producer Ebersol last December just two months after she split from her legal researcher David Lucado after 18-months together amid rumours he cheated on her. Prior to that, she ended her engagement to talent agent Jason Trawick in January 2013 after almost four years together. Britney has sons Sean, eight, and Jaden, seven, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, whom she divorced in 2006. She was also previously briefly married to childhood friend Jason Alexander. Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken + Crock-Pot #Giveaway | gimmesomeoven.com
Hey guess what?  I made you a new recipe with your three favorite words in the title — slow cooker chicken.
That’s right.  Without fail, requests for slow cooker recipes and chicken recipes seem to far outweigh all other topics in surveys and your emails.  So today I’m doing a two-for-one and also introducing a healthier new take on a classic — Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken!
This version includes all of the delicious sweet and savory teriyaki flavors you love.  But this easy homemade teriyaki sauce is naturally sweetened with honey instead of refined sugar.  And since your slow cooker is going to do most of the work for you, there is very minimal prep time required.  I think we can call that a win-win.
Speaking of winning, we’re also giving away not one but two amazing new Crock-Pot slow cookers in a giveaway below.  Yep, the winner will receive one to keep and one to give to a friend.  How cool is that?!  So read on for this tasty recipe and take a minute to enter the giveaway too.

I mean, really, just look at that chicken drenched in that thick, sweet teriyaki sauce.  It’s calling your name.
Here’s how to make it happen.

First we begin by making the teriyaki sauce base.  Simply whisk together the ingredients.

Then lay your chicken breasts out in a single layer in your slow cooker and pour the sauce over them.  Cover and cook on high for about 4-5 hours, or until the chicken basically falls apart when shredded with a fork.  Get ready, because your home is going to smell a-ma-zing.

Once the chicken is cooked, remove it with a slotted spoon and shred it on a separate plate or in a bowl.
Then transfer the remaining teriyaki sauce to a small saucepan, and whisk a cornstarch slurry.  Bring it to a boil and let it thicken.  Then pour the sauce on top of your shredded chicken.

Here’s the recipe (and be sure to also check out the giveaway below!)

SLOW COOKER TERIYAKI CHICKEN

This Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken recipe is simple to make, full of great flavor, and made with natural sweeteners.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped white onion
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (use low-sodium if desired)
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • (optional toppings: sliced scallions and toasted sesame seeds)

DIRECTIONS:

Add the chicken breasts to the bottom of your slow cooker in a single layer.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the garlic, onion, honey, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, ginger, and black pepper until combined. Pour the mixture on top of the chicken breasts. Cover slow cooker, and cook on high for 4-5 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and shreds easily with a fork. Remove the chicken with a slotted spoon to a separate bowl and shred it using two forks. Transfer the remaining teriyaki sauce from the slow cooker to a medium saucepan.
Meanwhile in a separate bowl, whisk together the cold water and cornstarch until the cornstarch is dissolved and no longer lumpy. Pour the cornstarch slurry into the teriyaki sauce mixture, and whisk to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, and let it boil for about 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat, and pour the sauce on top of the shredded chicken. Toss to combine.
Serve topped with scallions (green onions) and toasted sesame seeds if desired.

I just started cooking and using a CrockPot and man, this is a great way to start! This is sure to be a great base for so many meals. It’s just absolutely delicious. Thanks!

  2. MAGGIE — NOVEMBER 5, 2014 @ 11:41 PM (#)
I made this tonight and it was a success! My husband was quite happy with it too. It was, however, a tad too salty. I used tamari soy sauce. So next time I am thinking of using low sodium soy sauce and maybe 1/4 cup and 3/4 cup honey instead. What do you think?
It was super tasty but I felt like I had to drink a glass of water after eating it :)

  3. SARA SIMPSON — NOVEMBER 10, 2014 @ 7:06 PM (#)
I made this Teriyaki Chicken tonight for myself and my husband. We both loved it! Next time I make it, I am going to use some chili paste to add some heat and probably more onion and garlic.

  4. JAMIE — NOVEMBER 21, 2014 @ 1:58 PM (#)
Made it, tried it, loved it!  Thanks for another amazing recipe, I shared this on my blog as well, hope you don’t mind! (www.whowantsdinner.blogspot.com)

  5. DAVE WATSON — DECEMBER 20, 2014 @ 8:25 PM (#)
Made this for dinner tonight!  It was excellent!  Thanks!

  6. MARIKO — DECEMBER 28, 2014 @ 7:53 AM (#)
Sticking chopsticks onto the rice is a big no-no…

  7. SHAY PRATER — DECEMBER 30, 2014 @ 12:13 PM (#)
Thanks for this recipe…you saved my dinner! I had my chicken in my crock and found this other recipe I was gonna try. It called for onion, diced tomatoes, chicken gravy and balsamic dressing before I found out I didn’t have any dijon mustard it called for!! My chicken breast were whole and frozen at that time. I knew it was gonna be a bust and I’m feeding my husband and 3 teens…lord knows I wouldn’t live this down because I am known as the Mom that never fails to throw together an amazing dish out of nothing. Anyway, I frantically looked for another recipe and found this. I dug out my frozen chicken and washed off that yucky looking gravy, salvaged my onion and put my clean chicken back in the pot. WHEW! I loved that this is so basic and thank god I had everything. I sliced up a few carrots and added them but changed nothing else. It smells yummy and I am positive my family will confirm my expectations. That is why I am posting a review before I even eat it :) I do plan on serving it over Knorr brand Asian Sides Teriyaki Noodles which has an amazing flavor too. Again, Thank you!!!!

  8. CHERYL — JANUARY 19, 2015 @ 8:05 PM (#)
made this tonight! Loved it added pinapples as well so yummy!!

  9. KRISTIN — JANUARY 30, 2015 @ 2:18 PM (#)
Making this now. It looks so yummy! Has anyone added broccoli at any point to the mix? I’m contemplating doing so but am wondering if I should add it directly to the crock pot towards the end of cooking or if I should saute it separately and add it after. I’d love to just add it to the crock pot. If anyone has tried it or has any pointers, would love to hear!

  10. LIZ COCCIO — JANUARY 31, 2015 @ 8:02 AM (#)
    I would love to win!

  11. DANA — FEBRUARY 3, 2015 @ 8:49 AM (#)
Im alittle nervous! I accidentally added RED WINE VINEGAR instead of RICE VINEGAR. Is this going to make the whole thing taste bad?

    • ALI — FEBRUARY 3, 2015 @ 7:09 PM (#)
It will be a little different but should be just fine. Enjoy!

  12. CATHY BERNELLE — FEBRUARY 15, 2015 @ 4:44 PM (#)
I tried this recipe. Took a couple of trips to the store to gather all the ingredients. Incredibly salty. I was embarrassed to serve it. Way too much salt. I should have known with a 1/2 cup of soy sauce – way too much. I only left this comment because I think the recipe is flawed. Needs work. I used the exact ingredients and followed the directions.

  13. ALEX MIKLIN — FEBRUARY 20, 2015 @ 4:05 PM (#)
I am making this for dinner tomorrow. Thanks for the awesome recipe!

  14. DEBBIE KNIFFIN — MARCH 17, 2015 @ 11:22 AM (#)
I need to start with frozen chicken breasts.
How should I adjust the recipe?
I do BBQ chicken in the crock pot from frozen. Takes six hours on low. So if you don’t check this in real time, I may just go with six hours on low like I do for the other.
    So excited to try this!

    • ALI — MARCH 21, 2015 @ 12:23 PM (#)
You will probably just need to cook the recipe an extra 1-2 hours. Enjoy!

  15. MALLORY — MARCH 19, 2015 @ 1:21 AM (#)
Thank you for this recipe! This is one of my new favorites now. I love how easy it is to make. I made this on Sunday and had enough leftovers to last me for three days. Usually I hate eating leftovers, especially for that long, but I was excited to pack the chicken for lunch. I will be making this again soon!

    • ALI — MARCH 19, 2015 @ 12:55 PM (#)
Thanks Mallory, I’m so happy to hear that!

  16. CURDENT — MARCH 24, 2015 @ 4:41 PM (#)
I don’t know what I did but my meal was so salty I had to throw it out. The only thing I can think of was that I used Tamar soya sauce so maybe that was the saltiness. Needless to say it was not my favorite meal Sorry for the negitive comment. I am happy for those of you who did enjoy the mal

    • ALI — MARCH 25, 2015 @ 1:01 PM (#)
Hey there, I’m sorry to hear it turned out so salty! You can always try low-sodium soy sauce, that should help!

  17. CYNTHIA — MARCH 25, 2015 @ 10:47 AM (#)
Omg I just put this in the crock pot & of course I had to taste the sauce!! Its amazing I can not wait to try this out for dinner!! I’m sure my hubby & kiddos are going to love it :)

    • ALI — MARCH 25, 2015 @ 12:23 PM (#)
Thanks Cynthia, I’m so happy it worked out for you guys! : )

  18. CHRISTINE WAUGH — MARCH 27, 2015 @ 12:04 PM (#)
Could I use regular vinegar instead? It’s all I have…

    • ALI — MARCH 27, 2015 @ 5:38 PM (#)
Hey Christine, while rice vinegar or mirin really add to the Asian flavor of the dish, white vinegar would probably be okay, though I haven’t tried it. I wouldn’t use malt or apple cider vinegar though. I hope that helps!

  19. VIVIAN KAMARA — MARCH 29, 2015 @ 2:48 PM (#)
I am learning to cook crockpot  meals but my current pot is old and takes longer to heat up. I have had great experience with the recipes because the amount of food lasts more than one meal. I look forward to finding a quality crock pot to utilize. One pot meals are convenient and delicious.

  20. SARAH — MARCH 30, 2015 @ 10:21 PM (#)
A tad bit salty, other then that loved the recipe! Will try low sodium soy sauce next time or more honey.

  21. RASCHELLE H — APRIL 3, 2015 @ 7:30 PM (#)
I just finished this. I was super excited for my first time trying a crockpot recipe for teriyaki chicken. My chicken is dry (4.5hrs on high) and sauce salty. Unfortunately I already dumped the sauce all over the chicken before tasting it, so I sprinkled brown sugar generously over the top. We’ll see what the family thinks. Next time I’ll do less time for cooking, maybe on low instead?

  22. ADNAN — APRIL 4, 2015 @ 9:56 AM (#)
Hi. This recipe looks interesting, but how do you recommend I go about slow cooking the chicken if I don’t have a crock pot?

  23. MASAKAN INDONESIA — APRIL 9, 2015 @ 9:09 AM (#)
Nice recipes Sis!!! Can I translate to Indonesian Langguage?

  24. LIVVY — APRIL 9, 2015 @ 1:49 PM (#)
I’m making it now and it is making the house smell AMAZING!! I have the crockpot on low because i had a little extra time should it take double the amount of time to cook then 8 hours instead of 4?
    Thank you!

    • ALI — APRIL 9, 2015 @ 1:58 PM (#)
OOoh awesome, I hope you love it! And that sounds about right, but I would just keep an eye on it and check it for doneness. Enjoy!

  25. PEGGY SHEPARD — APRIL 10, 2015 @ 10:47 PM (#)
This would be great to win as my crockpot is sooooo old.
    Peggy

  26. SUWANEE KOSKI — APRIL 13, 2015 @ 10:13 AM (#)
I am making this today, but didnt realize that I put the cornstarch and water mixed in all together in the crock pot.  I guess I was a hurry and just wasn’t reading right.  Will this still be ok?  Is there anything I can do to fix it?

  27. BOBBIE — APRIL 22, 2015 @ 6:05 PM (#)
I came across this today, it looks soooooo delicious, will definitely try this, I love my crock pot!!! Thanks for sharing :)

  28. CAROL — APRIL 26, 2015 @ 9:28 PM (#)
Yummy and Easy. For some something different.  I took a couple tablepoons of the sauce and added some peppers and carrots (thats what I had in fridge) and sauteed.  Added some cooked rice and served as a wrap.  Great stuff!

    • ALI — APRIL 30, 2015 @ 8:20 PM (#)
Thanks Carol, and thanks for sharing your tips!

  29. BRANDI — APRIL 29, 2015 @ 6:39 PM (#)
This wasn’t tasty to me at all. Served this over brown rice and there was no semblance of teriyaki flavor and it was so salty it stripped my tongue raw. I would recommend finding a different recipe

  30. RESEP KUE — MAY 4, 2015 @ 4:12 AM (#)
    yummy,,i like it

  31. GIRLW/THECURLS — MAY 4, 2015 @ 10:11 AM (#)
Hi! Wondering if I cook it on low if I can leave it longer? I work 10 hour days, and I’m out of the house for at least 11 with commute time. I’m looking for something yummy and healthy (plan on serving on slightly steamed broccoli and carrots), but I’m also trying to save time with cooking once I’m home. :) Thanks!

  32. ROBERTA MERCHANT — MAY 6, 2015 @ 1:30 PM (#)
I had never used a crock pot before. I had a stroke a couple of years ago and I asked my daughter if she could loan me one of her crock pots. What a life saver for me. Put stuff in and a meal comes out. I haven’t tried your recipe yet but it is definitely on the horizon. I love Chinese style food.

    • ALI — MAY 6, 2015 @ 6:53 PM (#)
Thanks Roberta, hope you like it!

  33. CINE C — MAY 6, 2015 @ 8:23 PM (#)
Great flavor!  However it didn’t make enough sauce to cover the chicken.

  34. VANESSA — MAY 13, 2015 @ 4:56 PM (#)
I plan on making this tomorrow night. Just wondering,  I don’t have the rice wine vinegar.  Will it impact the taste vastly if I don’t use the rice wine vinegar? This sounds so tasty.

    • ALI — MAY 13, 2015 @ 6:01 PM (#)
Hey Vanessa, you could certainly try leaving the vinegar out, but I’m not sure if/how it would affect the taste, since I haven’t tried it myself. There isn’t really a substitute, unless you had white vinegar? That would probably be your best bet in this recipe. I hope that helps! Enjoy!

  35. IRINA — MAY 28, 2015 @ 2:10 PM (#)
Hai, can I make this recipe with coconut aminos coconut instead of kikkoman and with coconut vinegar instead of rice vinegar?

    • ALI — MAY 28, 2015 @ 11:04 PM (#)
Hi! Yes to both. : ) Hope you enjoy!

  36. AMANDA — JUNE 2, 2015 @ 8:49 AM (#)
Would cooking this on low for eight or so hours work?

    • ALI — JUNE 2, 2015 @ 9:07 AM (#)
Hey Amanda, I haven’t tried it on low for eight hours, but I think it should work fine! It might not take quite that long, so I would just try and check it maybe at 7 hours, and see how it’s doing. Hope you enjoy!

  37. LISA — JUNE 3, 2015 @ 1:07 PM (#)
this was delicious!  Will make again.

    • ALI — JUNE 4, 2015 @ 8:03 AM (#)
Thanks, Lisa, I’m glad you liked it!

  38. THEA — JULY 27, 2015 @ 7:09 PM (#)
What could I substitute the honey for?

    • HAYLEY @ GIMME SOME OVEN — JULY 27, 2015 @ 9:42 PM (#)
You could use Agave nectar or maple syrup! :) We hope that helps, and that you enjoy!

  39. BRANDIE — JULY 28, 2015 @ 10:15 AM (#)
I have made this several times with huge success! Kiddos and hubby loved it so much the first time that I had to double the recipe the second time. (6 person household, and 2 of them are growing boys!) The only change I made was reduced sodium soy sauce so it wasn’t overly salty. I make a big batch of rice and two bags of frozen stir fry veggies to stretch it even further. Thanks for such a great recipe that doesn’t require hours of work and tastes amazing!

    • HAYLEY @ GIMME SOME OVEN — JULY 29, 2015 @ 9:57 AM (#)
Thanks so much Brandie, we’re happy it’s a hit with you and your family! : )

  40. ALISON — AUGUST 3, 2015 @ 5:48 PM (#)
Will definitely be trying this recipe today. If I may make one suggestion though? Has nothing to do with the recipe–the first picture you have of the bowl of food and chopsticks stuck in the rice–i would suggest changing it as the chopsticks stuck upright in the food are very offensive to the Japanese culture.
It is a representation of death because at funerals that is what they do…they stick chopsticks in the ashes in an upright position. So it reminds them of funerals and dead people. Chopsticks should always lay flat. Whether on top of the bowl or on the side.
    Source: I live in Japan.
Your recipe is very simple and looking forward to making it. Just thought I’d make the suggestion to change the first picture.

    • HAYLEY @ GIMME SOME OVEN — AUGUST 5, 2015 @ 10:46 PM (#)
Hey Alison, we hope you liked the recipe, and we appreciate you sharing this information with us. We had no idea, and will definitely keep that in mind for photographing recipes in the future!

    thanks for recipe !

    • HAYLEY @ GIMME SOME OVEN — AUGUST 12, 2015 @ 3:44 PM (#)
Thank you Resep, we hope you both enjoy the recipe! :)

  42. AUDREY — AUGUST 17, 2015 @ 3:04 PM (#)
I use my crockpot religiously. When I stumbled upon your recipe, I immediately had to try it. So glad I did! My entire family loved it! I did make some slight modifications (more water, less soy sauce and ground ginger instead of chopped) but I only made those changes for the sake of my small kids. If I had followed this recipe to a T, it still would have been perfect. Perfectly satisfied our cravings for Chinese takeout, thankyou!

    • HAYLEY @ GIMME SOME OVEN — AUGUST 17, 2015 @ 10:09 PM (#)
Thanks for sharing Audrey! We’re so happy this was a hit with you and your family!
